Bigoni Description On September 28, 2020, at approximately 9:15 PM, Portland police officers entered Kenton Park, where demonstrators were preparing to march in a demonstration. A demonstrator who was assisting other demonstrators get registered to vote, and holding onto a homemade sign in connection with that activity (reading “Vote Register Here”), was confronted by officers who attempted to seize his sign. During this confrontation, Sgt. Damerville is reported to have OC sprayed the demonstrator at close-range, for 7-10 seconds. Ofc. Bigoni performed a takedown on the demonstrator. The demonstrator was struck multiple times by officers while on the ground, reportedly including kicks from Ofc. Bigoni.
